EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
ER RN - Per diem, various shifts including weekends and/or holidays.  Responsible for nursing care  to patients of all ages within the Emergency Department.  Current Maine RN license, ACLS and PALS & ENPC.  CEN preferred.

ED RN - Part time, 8 hours a pay period, 3p-11p shift with some rotation to day shifts as the schedule needs.  Responsible for direct care of patients including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation within the policies and procedures, and standards of the Emergency Department.  Current Maine RN license. Experienced Emergency Department RN.  BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC and CEN preferred.

ED Physician Assistant - SEASONAL - 3 - 4 shifts per week from May to October 2010.  Primary duties are direst patient care in the emergency room setting; diagnosis and treatment; meeting with physician supervisor in a timely manner.  Current Maine licensure.  Need to be ATLS certified with 5 years experience.

ED Clerk - Part time, 12 hours a week, 7a – 7:30p October – May/June.  6a – 6:30p May/June through October.  Assists the Emergency staff in maintaining a well equipped and clean department and facilitates the processing of patient orders and charges.  High school graduate or equivalent.  Computer literacy and medical terminology.  Annual CPR recertification.  Experience with medical terminology and/or receptionist work preferred.  Previous experience as a hospital unit secretary, CNA or EMT preferred.

HEALTH CENTERS
HC Clinical Coordinator - Full time, benefit eligible position at our Trenton Health Center.  The Coordinator is responsible for clinical oversight of the designated HC to assure appropriate staff/provider coverage and smooth daily operations. Certified Medical Assistant, LPN or Registered Medical Assistant.  Five years of medical office experience preferred.  

Health Center Medical Assistant - Full time, benefit eligible position at our Women’s Health Center.  Works as a team member with support staff and providers to ensure safe high quality care.  Current Maine LPN license, CMA, CNA or previous clinical office experience.

Health Center Phlebotomist - Full time, benefit eligible position at our Trenton Health Center.  Performs general Laboratory support duties and limited technical procedures.  Collects specimens by capillary, venipuncture.  Medical Assistant training preferred.  Experience in phlebotomy preferred but not required.

HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
HIM Data/Coding Specialist - Full time, benefit eligible position.  The Health Information Data  Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a data quality management (compliance) plan for coding and reimbursement, health records documentation, and working in conjunction with other departments on Electronic Health Records initiatives.  Would also be responsible for accurately coding and changing in a timely manner.  Needs to be extremely knowledgeable in Electronic Health Records Systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, Encoders, etc.  RHIA or RHIT  required.  BS or Associate degree or commensurate experience,  Minimum: Three years related work experience.  Preferred: Five years related work experience.

LABORATORY SERVICES
Clinical Lab Assistant - 30 hours a week, benefit eligible position.  Tentative Schedule:  4 days a week, 7-8 hrs/day, Monday thru Thursday.  Occasional weekend & holidays. Travel to Birch Bay Retirement Village weekly on a rotational basis.  Flexibility in scheduling is essential.  Performs general laboratory support duties and once proficient, performs limited technical procedures, all under the supervision of the Laboratory Director.  

MEDICAL IMAGING
Lead CT Technologist - Full time, benefit eligible position.  The Lead CT Tech functions as the chief radiographer and is responsible for the supervision and training of staff radiographers cross training in CT.  Five years experience in CT with 2 years supervisory experience.   Must be RTR (CT).

Per diem Mammographer - Must be RTR, M and have a current Maine State License. Also MQSA qualified.

Per diem Radiographer - Must be RTR and have a current Maine State License.

Sonographer - Full time, 36 hours a week, benefit eligible position.  Must be a registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Vascular Technologist. Must be RDMS in at least 2 specialties i.e., OB/GYN, Abdomen and Breast.  Minimum of 2 years post registry experience in Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound.

MEDICAL & REHAB
ICU RN - Responsible for direct total nursing care of patients including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the Intensive Care Unit.  Current RN licensure required.  Per diem 3 pm to 7 pm.

CNA/Orderly - Benefit eligible position.  36 hours a week.  Performs a variety of patient care duties as delegated and supervised by a RN. Current CNA registry required.

CNA/Orderly - Full time, 36 hours a week, benefit eligible position for the night shift, 7p – 7a. Provides a variety of patient care duties, including heavy duties, as delegated and supervised by a RN.  Current CNA registry required.

NURSING ADMINISTRATION
Clinical Nurse Educator - Part time, 24 hours a week position.  The Nurse Educator will supervise and implement programs for the education of nursing and other patient care team members.  Staff development will include certification programs as well as staff education in new patient care modalities and review of existing skills.  BSN or will be in the process & academic program to attain a BSN.  MSN preferred but not mandatory.  Experience with both small group & 1 on 1 teaching.

OBSTETRICS  
OB1 RN and OB2 RN - per diem positions available

Obstetrical RN (OB1) - Part time position, 24 hours.  This position requires a changing schedule based upon needs with rotating weekends. Obstetrics nurse with extensive OB, L & D, PP & AP experience required.  BLS, ACLS, STABLE & NRP/NALS required.

PER DIEM NURSING
Per diem nursing shifts are available in Telemetry, ASU and OB.  Current RN licensure required.

QUALITY AND SAFETY
Utilization Review Nurse - Per diem position to work days.  Performs Utilization Review Functions.  Involves record review and working with providers and insurance companies on a daily basis.  RN, knowledge of UR Functions and rules a plus.
