Four MDI Hospital team members receive health coaching certificates

Four MDI Hospital team members have completed health coach training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. The one-year program features a holistic approach to health by looking at all factors in an individual’s life to include emotional and physical elements of well being in addition to the traditional nutrition philosophies. MDI Hospital’s new health coaches are, from left: Amy Henderson, nutritionist; Caitlin Henrikson, dietician; Kathy Mulligan, community health educator; and Linda Beaudoin, RN, diabetes educator. Health coaching is now a service offered through many community programs, diabetes education, and occupational wellness initiatives.
