Occupational Medicine at Trenton Health Center was developed for local employers who sought occupational injury, health and safety training. The program, under the direction of Mark Kandutsch, MD, has grown and now includes the following services.

Respiratory Testing is available to measure the lung functioning of those at workplace risk or for those who smoke or have respiratory problems. This test is low cost and can be brought to any worksite.

Free On-site Training is available for topics such as blood borne pathogens, computer terminal display (VDT) issues, back safety, stress, injury prevention and cold weather safety. Topics suggested by employers can also be develop

Immunizations are offered at worksites and in the community. Vaccinations for the flu, hepatitis B, pre-exposure rabies and LymeÕs disease are available, plus other needs identified by employers.

Physical Exams for new hires, annual exams and injury management.

Screenings such as hearing testing, visual exams, blood pressure screenings are available.
