The Breast Center at MDI Hospital’s Roberta Wessel and current President of Maine Breast Cancer Coalition, recently presented Stanley Subaru owner, Mark Politte, with a certificate of appreciation from the Maine Breast Cancer Coalition.
Stanley Subaru is the 2013 sponsor of the WLBZ2 Buddy to Buddy Program, supporting breast cancer awareness and education. Four representatives from Maine Breast Cancer Coalition were Stanley Subaru’s guests at a recent “Business After Hours” Buddy to Buddy Reception in April. At the reception, Stanley Subaru presented Pink Albums to fifty guests and dignitaries at the event.
This extraordinary double CD contains a collection of performances by some of Maine’s most accomplished female singer / songwriters. Over two dozen remarkable performers have come together in support of The Maine Breast Cancer Coalition Support Service Fund.
The Breast Center at MDI Hospital recently received re-accreditation in mammography as the result of a recent in-depth review by the American College of Radiology (ACR).
The Breast Center is also designated by the ACR as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, which certifies MDI Hospital’s personnel qualifications, equipment requirements, quality assurance, and quality control procedures have gone through a rigorous review process and have met specific qualifications. This designation acknowledges excellence in Mammography, Stereotaxic Breast Biopsy and Breast Ultrasound.
