MDI Hospital is excited to welcome you to the second of two annual Health & Wellness Fairs taking place this Saturday, October 18, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Pemetic Elementary School in Southwest Harbor, ME. This community event is designed to promote healthy living with a variety of free health screenings, flu shots, and wellness resources. 🏥💙

The fair will feature a range of vendors and health services, including the Southwest Harbor Chamber, Mount Desert Nursing Association, Healthy Acadia, Happy Hearts Homecare, A&B Natural Foods, Adult Education, Alcoholics Anonymous, Birch Bay Retirement Village, Harbor House, Southwest Harbor Police Department, Southwest Harbor Bicycle, Cologuard, Southwest Harbor Fire Department, Maine Federation of Farmer’s Markets, Cahoon Care Associates, Growing Wild Wellness, Music Therapy, and Nutrition & Body Composition.
There will be flu shots available as well as blood pressure cuffs. There are also items to be raffled and door prizes! 💉🏆

Mount Desert Island Hospital is honored to announce a transformative $10 million lead gift from acclaimed television producer and philanthropist Dick Wolf to The Building Our Future campaign. This extraordinary contribution, the largest from an individual in the Hospital’s history, will accelerate construction of a new, state-of-the-art Emergency Department, upgraded surgical suites, and a welcoming new Main Street entrance.
