Friends of MDI Hospital

We are pleased to share exciting new changes to our MDI Hospital Incorporators structure. Moving forward, Incorporators will be known as the Friends of MDI Hospital. Based on your feedback, the Friends of MDI Hospital will have more opportunities to serve the Hospital as community ambassadors, supporters, advocates, and advisors.

This new structure will provide Friends with more touchpoints, connections, and networking opportunities throughout the year, including volunteering, community outreach, public policy advocacy, events, and town hall forums.

Engagement can include:

• Serving as a community advisor to Mount Desert Island Hospital
• Serving as a goodwill ambassador for the Hospital
• Supporting Hospital public policy advocacy initiatives to help improve the availability of quality, affordable healthcare in our community
• Receiving communications on volunteer and community engagement opportunities
• Participating in our Annual Campaign by contributing
• Attending MDI Hospital events
