The OB nurses at Mount Desert Island Hospital are committed supporting local mothers who are breastfeeding their babies.
New mothers and their babies are invited to spend time with other mothers who are on the same journey.
During this meeting mothers will share their experiences with breastfeeding and have their questions and concerns answered by nurse facilitators and other mothers who may have experienced the same issues. The goal is to help mothers develop the confidence that it will take to successfully breastfeed their babies. Please make plans to join us as we guide you through this exciting time.
