Dr. Nathan Donaldson is a board-certified emergency medicine physician. His medical interests and expertise include emergency medicine, sports medicine, and administration. During his O’Connor Sports Medicine Fellowship, he received the Excellence in Teaching Award. Dr. Donaldson was the Chief Resident at Brown University Emergency Medicine during his residency. He also received the Marc Shapiro Medical Student Teaching Award from Brown University and is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. A New England native, Dr. Donaldson came to MDI because he saw it as a great opportunity to work for an award-winning community hospital set on a beautiful island location close to family and friends. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, playing tennis, and New England sports.
