MDIH Employee of the Year – Lynne Assaf
With over 15 years of dedicated service, Lynne Assaf has been the heart of MDI Hospital’s care management team. Known for her warmth, wisdom, and fierce advocacy. Lynne has worked tirelessly, often after hours or while on vacation, to ensure patients leave our hospital with the support they need. This past year, she stepped into a counseling role at our Behavioral Health Center because that’s where her community needed her most. Even as she nears retirement, her compassion, resilience, and integrity continue to inspire us all. We are proud to honor Lynne as a 2025 MDI Hospital Employee of the Year for her unwavering dedication to both her patients and her colleagues.
MDIH Employee of the Year – Caleb Cough
If you’ve ever needed help with technology at MDI Hospital, chances are you’ve called Caleb Cough, and he’s answered with a calm, kind, and can-do attitude. Known as the go-to IT expert across the hospital, health centers, and Birch Bay Retirement Village, Caleb is always ready to problem-solve, innovate, and step up for his colleagues. This past year, he led the complex relocation of vital fiber connections as part of our campus improvement project, ensuring services continued without a hitch. Quietly confident and deeply committed, Caleb’s impact is felt in every corner of our organization. We are proud to recognize him as a 2025 MDI Hospital Employee of the Year.
