March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month!
MDI Hospital is standing together this month in awareness and support of Colorectal Cancer.
It has grown to be a rallying point for the colorectal cancer community where thousands of patients, survivors, caregivers, and advocates throughout the country join together to spread awareness by wearing blue, holding fundraising and education events, talking with friends and family about screening, passing out brochures, and so much more.
Every March, the Colorectal Cancer Alliance spotlights this disease and inspires more people to get checked starting at age 45. Join us in saving lives through prevention awareness!
Friday, March 3rd, was ‘Dress in Blue Day’! ‘Dress in Blue Day’ is an awareness campaign from the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, as well as part of Colorectal Cancer Month. You can continue wearing blue all month long in support. Learn more about dressing in blue for Colorectal Cancer (CRC) at https://www.ccalliance.org/…/awarenes…/dress-in-blue-day.
You can also donate and raise funds during the whole month of March to help bring awareness to colorectal cancer and honor all who are impacted by CRC. To donate or learn more, visit www.ccalliance.org.
