Emergency Department (ED) Area
Over the past several weeks, crews have been updating the appearance and functionality of the temporary Emergency Department pedestrian entrance area. This includes new siding on the exterior and the addition of a parking attendant, creating a safer and more welcoming entrance for patients and visitors.
Over the past several weeks, crews have been updating the appearance and functionality of the temporary Emergency Department pedestrian entrance area. This includes new siding on the exterior and the addition of a parking attendant, creating a safer and more welcoming entrance for patients and visitors.
Concrete work around the Emergency Department is expected to wrap up soon, allowing steel erection to begin toward the end of the month. A large crane will be on site in the ED area during this time. The duration of the work is expected to continue for up to six weeks.

Improvements have already been made to the signage and greenspace in that area, including updated signposts, removal of concrete and orange construction barriers, and additional mulching.

Main Entrance Construction
The Main Entrance area will see some of the most noticeable changes this month. New light poles will be installed, and perimeter construction fencing will begin to come down as crews prepare and grade the site for future parking areas, green space, and sidewalks.

Tank Noise Emission
We are also pleased to report that the ringing noise some neighbors have experienced has significantly improved. Thank you to everyone who reached out to make us aware of the continuing issue. Irving Oil returned several weeks ago to perform maintenance on the tanks, and the corrective measures appear to have successfully resolved the problem.
