Congratulations to BEE Award Recipient, Stefanie Mun!

Mount Desert Island Health is proud to recognize Stefanie Mun as our first BEE Award recipient.

The BEE Award honors outstanding team members who consistently go above and beyond to provide exceptional care, kindness, and service throughout Mount Desert Island Hospital, our Health Centers, and Birch Bay Village.

As an administrative assistant, Stefanie wears many hats and plays an essential role in keeping our organization running smoothly. Whether she’s coordinating behind the scenes, helping a colleague, or tackling a last-minute request, she approaches every task with a positive attitude and unwavering commitment.

Those who work with Stefanie describe her as someone who is always willing to lend a hand. She never says no when someone needs assistance and greets everyone she encounters with a warm smile. Much of the day-to-day work at MDI Health passes through Stefanie’s hands, and her reliability, flexibility, and dedication make a meaningful difference to both her coworkers and the patients we serve.

Stefanie truly exemplifies the teamwork, compassion, and service that define MDI Health’s values. Her willingness to support others and her positive spirit make her an invaluable member of our team.
