Saturday, March 16, MDI Hospital is expecting a large delivery as a part of our Central Utility Project construction. This delivery includes large components that will involve staging and a temporary disruption to the flow of traffic around our campus.
Beginning early on Saturday morning, trucks will arrive and likely need to stage on Wayman Lane, causing a brief disruption to traffic there. During that time, the hospital will be accessible via Stanwood and Hancock.
Once crews move onto hospital grounds and off of Wayman, our ED entrance will be disrupted until likely 2-3PM. All Emergency Department arrivals should enter through the Wayman Lane Main Entrance. Emergency personnel have been notified of this change and our ED staff are prepared to manage this new flow during this time.
