Care Philosophy:  “First, do no harm; second, listen in a genuinely caring manner.  Clarify misunderstandings with detailed explanations and to try to provide reassurance as appropriate.  Identify individualized problems but craft solutions with patient participation in order to bolster self reliance.  Harness the power of the patient’s positive mind.  Never forget that exercise and nutrition are also medicine.”

Dr. Peter Goebel practices Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Trenton Health Center. His medical interests and expertise include musculoskeletal medicine and peripheral neurology. He completed his undergraduate education at Dartmouth College and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Connecticut Medical School. He completed his residency at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center. He previously practiced at Eastern Maine Medical Center and Maine Coast Memorial Hospital.
