Trey’s love for helping people and the wild nature of Maine made the decision of joining MDI Hospital a no brainer. He studied at the University of Maine at Farmington where he got his B.S in Business Economics.

His passions professionally have taken him through virtually every corner of the nonprofit world which provided him with the structure and mindset he needed to best help people. Finding the right community and location he wants to serve has been a challenge, but feels that the MDI hospital is a place worth rooting himself in. From the warm welcome that each and every staff member has shown him and the willingness to help, Trey is eager to see where his future on the island will take him.

Being a lover of wilderness and art, Trey finds himself drawing, writing, doing yoga, hiking, skiing, and practicing gratitude. Each moment to him has beauty. Even in the darkest and toughest of times.
