Just in time for the spring awakening, Mount Desert Island Hospital is hosting a community blood drive on Thursday, Mar. 28 from 9 am to 2 pm at the MDI YWCA.
“We intentionally scheduled our spring blood drive a littler earlier than we have in the past so our event wouldn’t fall right when everyone is busy with summer plans,” said Kathy Mulligan, MDI Hospital’s community health educator. “By moving the date a few weeks we’re hoping that those who couldn’t donate in May can in late March.”
