Earth Day Roadside Cleanup Event
Mount Desert Island, April 29th, 2023
On Saturday, April 29th, Mount Desert Island Hospital and Birch Bay Retirement Village assembled two teams of volunteers to participate in the annual Friends of Acadia Earth Day Roadside Cleanup event. Trash was picked up from all State Highways on MDI, as well as some in Trenton. This major roadside clean-up effort offers a great opportunity for local community members to band together and support the communities in which we live.
