2023 Spring UPenn CME Conference on Trauma

Registration is open for the Spring 2023 UPenn Conference on Trauma

In collaboration with our partners from Penn Medicine, a team from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) will be leading a conference on Trauma, Tuesday, May 9th & again on Thursday, May 11th.
In addition, during the morning of Wednesday May 10th the team will be on site @ MDIH for a simulation. More information to follow.
CME available/total of 7 hours per session/day.

When: Tuesday May 9th and Thursday May 11th offering the same program both days.
Time: Check-in will start around 0730 & conference will run roughly 0800-1630
Where: In-person @ Atlantic Oceanside Conference Center, Bar Harbor – continental breakfast & lunch provided. COVID precautions will be in place such as social distancing, masks and sanitizers will be made available.

  • ATLS 10th edition 2022 update w/ a focus on blunt and elderly trauma along with other general high yield topics
  • Head Trauma including a concussion update / returning safely to activities
  • Domestic violence-how to recognize and engage with the patient
  • Spinal Trauma- how to triage acuity and what IR can handle.
  • Pre-Hospital Trauma Assessment and ED Preparedness including zero-point survey
  • Psychologic aspects of Trauma

  • Community resource discussion for domestic / intimate partner violence

May 10th Simulation Scenarios
