Danielle Silverman grew up in northern Maine and first arrived on Mount Desert Island in 2008 while seeking a summer job during a break from her studies at Husson University in Bangor. Captivated by the island’s beauty and community, she chose to make MDI her permanent home following graduation.

Equipped with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration, Danielle built a diverse professional background spanning accounting, events management, human resources, and nonprofit advancement.

Danielle’s primary focus in her role is to foster collaborative donor relationships and drive positive change for the MDI community. Since joining MDI Hospital in 2019, Danielle has accelerated process improvement and growth for the Hospital’s Advancement Program, demonstrating her commitment to strengthening the community she loves.

Danielle resides in Hall Quarry with her husband, Brian, their daughters, Ava and Lucy, and their two dogs, Baxter and Maisie. She enjoys hiking outdoors or boating on the ocean in her free time, and cherishes moments with her family and friends.
