On Tuesday November 27, 2012 organizations, businesses and individuals are coming together to transform the way people think about, talk about and participate in the giving season. #GivingTuesday asks individuals across the country to signify the Tuesday after Thanksgiving as a day to give thanks and a day to give back, both online and offline.

This season of giving and thankfulness, we want to honor our staff and volunteers who make sure quality health care is available on Mount Desert Island, both for the thousands of visitors who come every year and for the residents of MDI.
